A PERSISTENT man who harassed his former girlfriend has been ordered to do unpaid work to make up for his crime.

Ian Quick, 31, of Fir Terrace, South Molton, sent text messages, made phone calls and contacted his ex via Facebook after the breakdown of their two-year relationship.

North Devon Magistrates heard Quick's text messages related to an "unrequited love".
