CULLOMPTON climbed to third place with a three-wicket win at Exeter Civil Service in the final round of matches.

Home skipper Vic Murphy top scored with 50 in the city side's 137. Sanjaya Rajapakse wound up an excellent season for himself by taking five for 22.

The target was not an easy one for Cullompton to reach, but an unbeaten 53 from Tom Hardy saw them home.

Spencer Popham made up for lost time as he helped Culmstock to a 10-wicket win against Cheriton Fitzpaine.

After arriving late, he watched as Ross Stickland claimed three for 10 as Cheriton were bowled out for 89.

Popham then hammered a second successive unbeaten half century, his 53 not out seeing them reach their target with ease.
